Professor Ramesh Harjani

Post-doctoral

MartinSturm.jpg Martin Sturm was a Research Assitant in the Analog Design Group from Sep. 2007 to Jan. 2013, where he completed his PhD?. As a post-doctoral researcher, he continues working on Passive Switched-Capacitor circuits for spectrum sensing as a lead member of the DARPA CLASIC team.

PhD Students

Mohammad Elbadry Mohammad Elbadry joined the lab in Fall 2009. He dis his B.Sc and M.Sc in Ain Shams Univeristy, in Cairo, Egypt. He worked in Si-Ware Systems for four years before joining the lab. He is currently working on configurable wide-band RF transceivers.
Ashutosh Mehra Ashutosh Mehra joined the lab in summer 2010. He completed his B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani in 2009. He is currently working on architectures and circuit design for low power ultra wideband transceiver.
Sachin Kalia Sachin Kalia joined the lab in Fall 2010. He did his BE and MS in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. He is currently struggling with phased arrays.
Rakesh kumar Palani Rakesh Kumar Palani joined the lab in Spring 2011. He completed his B.E. in Electrical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, kurukshetra in 2007 and Masters from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 2009 . He is currently working on architectures and circuit design for High Speed Analog to Digital Converters.
MustafijurRahman.JPG Mustafijur Rahman joined the Analog Design Group in Spring, 2012. He completed his B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering from NIT Silchar in 2009 and was awarded Gold Medal for Best Engineering Graduate. He was a Scientist for 1.5 years at Defense Electronics Research Laboratory, Hyderabad which is a lab of DRDO (Defence Research & Development Organisation) under Ministry of Defense, Govt. of India. His research focuses on temperature sensors for RFID chip and on ultra low power transceiver design for WBAN (Wireless Body Area Network).
AnindyaSaha.JPG Anindya Saha joined the Analog Design Group in Fall 2012. He completed his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) in 2011. His research focuses on High-speed Delta-Sigma data converters.
HundoShin.JPG Hundo Shin joined the Analog Design Group in Fall 2012. He completed his Bachelor's degree and Master degree in Electrical Engineering from Handong University and Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology(KAIST) in 2009 and 2011. His research focuses on analog FFT.
FatimaAghlmand.JPG Fatima Aghlmand joined the Analog Design Group in Fall 2012. She completed her B.S. and Master degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Tehran and Sharif University of Technology in 2008 and 2011 respectively. Her research focuses on design of wideband receiver.
XingyiHua.jpg Xingyi Hua joined the Analog Design Group in Fall 2012. He completed his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University in 2012. His research focuses on design of RFID tag.
NaserMousavi.jpg Naser Mousavi joined the Analog Design Group in Fall 2013. He received the B.Sc. degree from the University of Zanjan, Zanjan, Iran, in 2009, and the M.Sc. degree from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2011, both in electrical engineering. Prior to joining the group he was a lecturer in the department of engineering at the University of Zanjan, Zanjan, Iran where he taught electronics courses for undergraduate students.His research interests include analog, RF, and millimeter-wave integrated circuits.
SaurabhChaubey.jpg Saurabh Chaubey joined the Analog Design Group in Fall 2013. He did his BE (Electrical & Electronics) and MSc(Physics) from BITS,Pilani in 2012. He worked with 4G/LTE protocol group of Broadcom from July 2012 to Aug 2013 before joining the lab.
QuingriMeng.jpg Qingrui Meng joined the Analog Design Group in Fall 2013. He received B.S. degree from Xi'an Jiaotong University and M.S. degree from Peking University. From 2010 to 2013, he had served as an analog/Mixed-signal IC design engineer in Mstar Semiconductor (merging into MediaTek?) and Analog Devices respectively.

Bodhisatwa Sadhu.jpg Bodhisatwa Sadhu joined the Analog Design Group in Fall, 2007. He completed his B.S. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani in 2007, and his Ph.D. from University of Minnesota in 2012. For his Ph.D., he worked on architectures and circuit design for wide-band Cognitive Radio receivers. He is currently with IBM T.J. Watson Labs, Yorktown Heights, NY.
Jaehyup Kim Jaehyup Kim received his Bachelorís degree from Korea University and Masterís degree from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology(KAIST) in 1999 and 2001, respectively. Previously he worked at Pantech & Curitel designing cell phone hardware and XRONET designing RFICs. He is currently working towards his Ph.D. in EE under the guidance of Prof. Ramesh Harjani at the University of Minnesota. His research interests include RF circuit design and bio medical nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectrometer.
taehyounoh.jpg Taehyoun Oh joined Professor Harjani's Analog Design Group in Fall, 2008. He received his B.S. and M.S. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Seoul National University in 2005 and 2007, respectively. He is currently working on architectures and circuit design for high-speed I/Os, especially focusing on a MIMO crosstalk cancellation scheme.
Sudhir Kudva Sudhir Kudva joined the lab in spring 2009. He did his Master's in Indian Institute of Sciences, and worked in AMD India Engineering Centre, Bangalore, India. He is currently working on fully integrated DC-DC converters for DVS based applications.
