EXAM JAM Fall 2012

Stressed out about finals? Come study with us! Extra walk-in tutoring hours, review workshops, free practice exams, and a Saturday full of preparation and snacks in a relaxed atmosphere have all been planned for you. See you there!

Walk-in tutoring/consulting is available through the last day of classes, and schedules are posted at the links below.

EXAM PREP WORKSHOPS (selected courses)

A series of review workshops, led by SMART's trained Peer-Assisted Learning facilitators, will take place throughout the week in a number of East Bank classrooms. Each workshop focuses on specific core concepts from the corresponding course or discipline. Registration does not guarantee a spot but will help us determine materials needed. We can only seat up until the room's capacity is reached, so arrive early!

Tutors and consultants will be out in force all day Saturday, Dec. 8. Work with knowledgeable peers as your prep week winds down. Snacks and free selected practice exams will also be available.

New FOR FALL 2012:Take 5 to use your Top 5

During the afternoon tutoring hours at Walter, stop by the strengths booth to get a Take 5 candy bar as well as 5 tips for how to use your top 5 Strengths to be successful during finals week! Strengths coaches will be on hand to share strengths resources and provide advice about how you can excel during finals week by using your strengths. Take a 5 minute break from studying to visit us during Exam Jam!

Brought to you by the Office for Student Engagement.

Exam Jam is presented by the SMART Learning Commons and the Multicultural Center for Academic Excellence (MCAE).
